Frozen: WE COULD HAVE HAD IT AAAALL

Hans and Anna in some alternate telling of the story, I suppose. And because I apparently have a thing for cravats, but that's neither here nor there.

I haven't uploaded anything in quite a while, for which I apologize. But like I've said, I've recently had my life ruined by the lost potential of these two ginger dorks; the writers stated that they were intent on making us fall in love with what the relationship between Hans and Anna could've looked like, in order for the reveal to have more impact, and they may have done their jobs a bit too well.

(Heck, it would've been interesting to see a Disney couple go through their romantic "love at first sight" routine at the beginning of the film and spend the rest of it going, "Shoot, we'll be partially responsible for a kingdom together, won't we? We should probably figure out the 'practical partnership' side of this thing, too. You're also not as perfect/dreamy as I initially thought you were, and maybe giving this time would be a smart idea, but I think I still really like you and want to stick around." I don't think that route has been taken yet in the Disney canon, but it would have been an interesting take on the way that an initial mutual attraction/sense of chemistry can work out.)

On a different note, Hans DID make for a great, despicable villain, with just enough background to give him some dimension. A dark reprise of "Love Is An Open Door" would've also been great. And I do love Kristoff too.

ALAS.

You drew this very well, and I found the concept - of them having rushed into things, only to have to struggle with working out the practicalities, and yet they still stick with it despite the difficulties - a very interesting idea. I think I'd like to see a movie where they did that. It would be first Disney Princess film where the protagonists got married very early on, and then throughout the adventure/story learned what it was to really love each other beyond the good feelings they had at the start - To take the good with the bad and still give their all to the relationship they committed to. Nicely drawn artwork, and really intriguing thoughts too.
