A silly little idea I had that I drew up and sketched in about an hour. :XD:

You can interpret this two ways, I guess:

One: it's a mockery of the 'modern art' concept. Not to say that all modern art is bad, of course, but the definition grows progressively looser: if you can assign an evocative or interpretive enough title to anything, it'll be hailed as a masterpiece. I'm sure the idea of calling a blank canvas ';Potential' has been done many times before.

Two: A blank canvas is, in truth, the greatest piece of work there is; because within it lies infinite possibility. It can be anything you want it to be. It's clay waiting to be molded by your own creativity, and this particular artist has decided to let the viewers decide what sort of image they would like to see.

Depends. I like the second one better, I think. :D

I really like the idea !!!
Well... If I had to choose, I would take the second option =)
'Cause it's by far the more optimist !!! XD

I love the interpretation and message. God job on it.

And thanks for not posting a blank canvas for a piece of art, lol. :-p

A pessimist chooses option 1. An optimist chooses option 2.

I chose option 2... because that is true.

Hehe, wanna know something sad? There was actually an artist that had a blank canvas, or painted a canvas white and it was considered a priceless work of art. And at this one art show a girl kissed it and got lipstick on it and 'ruined it.' And the 'art' was then worthless... though I personally think it was worthless in the first place. = P
