Wow, I'm rusty. My computer is also broken, so I can't exactly use my tablet right now. Huzzah for traditional media!
And this will not be the last drawing I upload which falls under the general category of "THIS IS STUPID AND DORKY AND I REALLY DON'T KNOW BUT HERE YOU GO ANYWAY."
Korra and Bolin, dancing some version of a jazz number with Meelo and Ikki: because it's not a proper 1920s universe without the Charleston, of course. Or some bending-inspired variation of it.
(....So, is there a bootlegging problem in Republic City? Do the Triple Threat Triad members essentially function as rum-runners? Do they use submachine guns? Is there a horrific economic depression and/or another war to follow this era?
Most importantly, though, does this mean I will be able to cross my obsessions with Korra and Lackadaisy Cats together? Because I don't know if I could handle that.)
All of the characters you recognize belong to Mike DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko, who have once again managed to suck my brain out through my nose and get me invested in a cartoon aimed at a twelve-year-old demographic.
I love Bolin! He and Korra are perfectly okay with acting goofy and playing with little kids, Jinora and Mako need to loosen up. I bet Asami wouldn't have a problem dancing with the kids.
I think the demographic was moved up, since the characters are older and now the creators know that a lot of teenagers like their work. I like how you have the fun-loving kids dancing, while aloof Mako and calm Jinora watch; Jinora looks like she's wondering whether she and Mako will be expected to dance together, and isn't sure if she'g go along with it or not.
So cute. I love how Jinoora's over there with Mako being all not-fun. So what they'd do. XD
Now you've got me thinking about the crime of Republic City... I guess they would run around town knocking over cabbage carts and taping signs to people's back that say "I'm with bender --->"
Mako and Jinora are so bored...
lay of 'em u 2, they're just entertaining the kids
